"Golgotha" is another song written from the Lord's perspective. When I wrote this song, I initally only wrote the music (the guitar part). I didn't have any lyrices for a while, and that was becasue I knew this was a very delicate song. I knew that it's message would be powerful. Eventually, the song bacame "Golgotha", which is the place where Jesus was crucified ("Golgotha" means: the place of the skull). The idea for the song came from Matthew 16:24-26, and it is all about taking up your own cross to follow the Lord. Simply put, are you willing to put God's will before your own? We must die out to our own will (our flesh) COMPLETELY... and only then will we find the power of God in our life. We need to die and resurrect... Just like He did.
